Just the right size for a day of snow play, the Osprey Switch 26 daypack is ideal for in-bounds skiing, backcountry snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country ski touring, you name it. Available in three sizes to best match your torso length, this rucksack caters to the needs of everyone from the extreme terrain rider to casual alpine skier. The main compartment features separate pockets to keep wet snow safety gear away from spare clothing and food, while a mesh helmet pocket on the top lid provides a convenient location to store headgear. For steep climbing or long walks back to the car, StraightJacket compression straps double as a snowboard carrier, plus the Osprey Switch 26 daypack offers A-frame and diagonal ski carry straps too. The SnowShed backpanel keeps snow from accumulating on the backpanel, a nice feature for this pack because it has a unique backside entry to the main compartment. The top pocket also offers a goggle storage sleeve and the hipbelt has two pockets for quick access to snacks, lip balm, cell phone, and other necessities. And to keep pace with the latest outdoor innovations, the Osprey Switch 26 daypack has insulated tube routing through shoulder strap for cold weather use of your favorite hydration bladder. I cannot wait to go back to Paris, but is there anywhere I can really let loose and shop for clothes that fit??
Sabby 46,
I’m so glad I just logged in and saw your question!
I just got back from Paris and I made a list of great number of plus-size clothing stores in Paris, and yes – I did buy a few things – some lovely pants (buy one get one free!) from Couleurs on rue de Rivoli during the sales, and some gorgeous white linen pants from Ulla Popken.
Here’s the page on my website where I’ve listed the stores:
http://www.a-night-in-paris.com/plus-size-woman-clothing.html
You’ll be able to print this page and take it with you.
I also looked in the yellow pages in Paris and found a bunch more stores in the suburbs, which I will add to my webpage in the near future.
PS – the stores are priced from budget to extravagant, so check out a few and find prices that suit your budget.
Have a fabulouos time! If you want to let me know how you get on, please do feel free to post a message on my webpage – I’d love to hear about your adventure.
Cheers

large size womens clothing
So I'm planning to go to Japan in about two years or so. I'm currently 14 years of age, and I am a size five in jeans in juniors size. I wear size medium in shirts, and my shoe size is 8-9 in womens depending on the brand. I weight 135 pounds and I am 5 ft 6 inches tall. I'm trying to lose 20 pounds so that I am 115, cause I kind of have big thighs and a large….butt.
Will I be able to fit into the clothing in Japan if I lose weight? I really love the style, but I am afraid that I won't be able to buy anything…..because I'm kind of big for my age I guess.
I'm also blonde, so will I have a lot of attention because of that? I'm kind of shy around people I don't know, so I don't like it when people make comments to me.
What can I do to minimize my hip/thigh/butt size before leaving to Japan?
Uh, no. Just relax and stop thinking about your weight. Your weight will always go up and down so there's no changing that. When it comes to sizes in clothing, what really counts is your measurements and not your weight [all of the time]. Take you bust, waist and hip measurements and compare them to the clothes that you wanna buy.
